A dress form made specifically for Smart Doll Pear — because sewing doll clothes is a lot easier when you can actually fit them on a body.
The dress form is 3D printed from a specially selected soft, flexible and bouncy material that is easy to pin into. Unlike a rigid 3D-printed body, it gives just enough resistance when inserting pins, making it ideal for draping, fitting, adjusting and shaping doll garments directly on the form.
The body is mounted on a height-adjustable brass rod stand, so you can set it to a comfortable working height.
And then there's the base. We couldn't just make a boring round base, so it's shaped like a button, because this is a sewing tool and we had to commit to the theme. 🧵 The base is available with a colorful marble effect, giving each one its own unique look. The pattern is created by the casting process and is completely random, so the colors and swirls will vary from piece to piece — which means you get a little surprise and your own unique pop of color!
The sturdy cast-material base gives the dress form a low center of gravity, keeping it stable while you're working. The bottom is finished with cork, which helps prevent scratches and gives the base a little extra grip on your work surface.
We've also hidden a magnet inside the base, turning it into a convenient magnetic pincushion for keeping pins and needles close at hand while you sew.
The form is precision-shaped using 3D scanning to accurately capture the proportions and contours of the doll’s body, giving you a dress form that closely matches the shape your garments are designed to fit. Modeled with the default bust.

Please note: The flexible material used for this dress form is particularly challenging to 3D print. Because the design includes a defined crotch and legs rather than a simplified skirt-shaped bottom, some visible support marks may be present around the buttocks and crotch area where the printing supports were removed. These marks are a normal part of the manufacturing process and are shown in the product photos.
You may also notice small surface irregularities or slightly droopy areas resulting from the printing process. These are cosmetic only and do not affect the intended use or functionality of the dress form.
